Prodyne was founded in 1971 when we invented the original Gourmet Cheese Slicer, a solution to America’s need for a reliable Cheese Slicer with an innovative built in wire cutter at an affordable price.As engineers, we knew we could provide it.After a year of designing, prototyping and testing, our Cheese Slicer was born. We applied for a U.S. patent and introduced it to the market.

In a short time, Prodyne’s Cheese Slicer gained national recognition for it’s quality and function and sales began to soar. In the early 80’s, we began to expand our product line guided by our founding principles; to design, develop, and manufacture innovative consumer products with high style, quality materials, trusted performance, at affordable prices.

In 2020, we proudly celebrate our 49th year designing and manufacturing contemporary housewares products that go beyond our original Gourmet Cheese Slicer. As originators of the Fruit Infusion Pitcher and On-Ice Serveware, Prodyne now offers a wide assortment of kitchenware, barware, and serveware in a multitude of exceptional materials and distinctive designs.

Today, the Prodyne line consists of over 200 SKU’s with sales worldwide.Our customer base includes over 2000 independent kitchenware stores, top national brick and mortar retailers, online market places, and national specialty retailers.In addition to offering our extensive product line, Prodyne also provides customization for key accounts and promotional companies.
